 About the Meeting:   Program and Project Management Community of Practice Conference

Project Management Professionals (PMPs) may claim 14 Professional Development Units (PDUs) for attendance at the PPM CoP conference. The conference is listed on PMI's website as Program and Project Management Community of Practice Conference under USACE' provider # 1899 and course # PDS089.
 Date:   The meeting begins on 9 May at 1300 and concludes on 12 May 2006 at 1200. A half-day pre-conference session from 0800-1200, 9 May, for DPM's only, will precede the main meeting.

 Registration Fee:   There is a required registration fee of $252.00 to cover meeting costs. The fee may be paid by credit card. You will be asked to provide a credit card number and expiration date. NOTE: All attendees must pay a registration fee of $252.00. Payment of this fee will be requested during the registration process by completing the online form. You will receive a receipt of payment by email to your email address.
 Hotel Accommodations:   The meeting will be held at The Conference Center Niagara Falls with three hotels in Niagara Falls providing the overnight accommodations at the government rate of $60/night. You will make your lodging arrangements during the registration process by completing the online form. You will receive hotel rooming information by email 2 weeks prior to the meeting date. NOTE: Hotel accommodations must be made by 7 April 2006.
 Note:   Meeting attendees are expected to make their own travel arrangements.

About the meeting

Program and Project Management Community of Practice Conference i s being held at the Conference Center Niagara Falls beginning on 9 May and concluding on 12 May 2006. Approximately 250 attendees will arrive from the nine divisions and 45 districts in the U.S. and foreign countries. The main conference, 9-12 May, consists of two full day sessions on 10-11 May and two half-day sessions starting at 1300 hours, Tuesday, 9 May and ending at 1200 hours, Friday, 12 May 2006. Joint sessions will include all attendees with speakers and breakout sessions with facilitators and speakers. The number of joint sessions and breakout sessions, along with approximately 8 speakers will be determined as the agenda is developed. A half-day pre-conference session from 0800-1200, 9 May for DPMs only will precede the main meeting.
