  1. What time does the meeting start and end?
    • Pre registration/Check-In will open Sunday August 27, 2006 from 3:00pm - 6:00pm.
    • The meeting begins with an opening plenary breakfast Monday August 28, 2006 at 8:30am.
    • The closing luncheon is scheduled to end Thursday August 31, 2006 at 1:30pm.

    • No, if you register early you still qualify for the early bird registration fee as long as you submit your payment by April 30, 2006.

  12. When is the Clinical Conference?
    • The 9th Annual Clinical Update for practitioners will be held in conjunction with the 15th Anniversary of the Ryan White CARE Act - Grantee Conference.

  13. How much is registration?
    • Early Registration through April 30, 2006 - $400.00 per person
      Late Registration May 1, 2006 through July 31, 2006 - $500.00 per person
    • On-site Registration - $600.00
    • One-Day Registration - $150.00 per person

  14. What important dates should I be aware of?
    • Early Registration through April 30, 2006 $400.00 per person

    • Cancellations must be received in writing prior to July 16 to receive a full registration refund, less a $25 processing fee. Any cancellations received after the July 16 deadline will not be honored.
    • All room reservations at the Marriott Wardman Park must be made NO LATER THAN Thursday, August 3, 2006. At that time the block of rooms will be closed and the discounted rate cannot be guaranteed. Please make your reservations early as space may be filled quickly.
    • Deposits are fully refundable at the hotel if a room reservation is canceled at least seven (7) days prior to arrival, and a cancellation number is obtained. Please confirm this policy with the hotel upon making your reservations.
    • The deadline for submitting your poster proposal is Monday, May 1, 2006.
    • The deadline for submitting your workshop proposal is April 3, 2006

  15. Will there be a sign language interpreter?
    • Yes, English sign language interpretation will be offered in the plenary sessions.

  16. Will there be an on-call physician in case I get sick?
    • Yes, there will be a physician on-call. Please stop by the registration desk or contact a PSA staff member if assistance is needed.

  19. What should I wear to the conference?
    • Casual attire is encouraged for the meeting. August in Washington, DC is very hot and humid so dress cool when going outside. However inside the hotel will be air conditioned. Some may find it cool in the meeting. It is recommended that you bring a sweater while sitting in on the meetings.

  20. Will there be a consumer track?
    • No. There is no consumer track. The expected consumer attendees will be consumers affiliated with the grantee organization (staff, employee, advisory board member, etc.).
